    Description
The 100 hp Petrel 912i LSA is a light, easy-to-fly, student-friendly side-by-side instructional aircraft with a very safe tubular steel structure, with a manufacturing process designed for operations in demanding contexts, with low operating cost, little maintenance and low cost of acquisition (it costs 50% less than imported planes with the same features).

    Airframe

    Airframe Notes
The Petrel 912i fuselage consists of a reticular structure of SAE 4130 steel tubes welded with a MIG process, with a reinforced cabin that surrounds and protects the pilots, designed to absorb impacts in case of accidents.

    Engine

    Engine Notes
The Petrel uses the 100 hp (17 l/h) Rotax 912 ULS engine for the VLA version as an initial proposal. The propeller is Clerici of composite materials of national manufacture.
