    Description
-Custom trailer by Featherlite, with 2006 Sterling Acterra truck (only 8,000 miles). -The system provides a very soft and secure ride for the R-22. -The transporter is basically a tarp-covered wagon with a moveable scissors lift. -10-foot flatbed and tilting 5th-wheel hitch on long frame rails. -160 gallons 80 each side, air dryer and chuck, grate steps. -Verduyn tarp with quadruple uplift bows for no blade contact. -3 kW Honda generator and batteries to operate scissors lift independently of truck. -Landing platform large enough for the average pilot, with tie downs. -After opening the rear doors and loosening two tensioning brackets, the tarp slides forward and compresses into the fifth-wheel area. -Controller for landing platform directs up, down, forward and reverse movement from right side, with full visibility. -Rack and pinion transport drive for scissors lift, moves platform fore and aft along tracks. -Landing pad wings open, and rest on solid trailer base. -Manual override, so if electricity fails we can still move the landing platform. -Durable rubber material on landing platform (also used in horse trailers). -Two compartments designed to hold large helicopter fuel bladders. -Two large tie-down straps securing the platform to the trailer. -Smaller straps hold the helicopter to platform. -Robinson tuna-boat blade supports, front and rear protect droop stops. -2006 Sterling Acterra truck, new condition (only 8,000 miles!). -Caterpillar C-7 engine. -Allison automatic transmission. -Marmon-Herrington OEM all-wheel drive.
