Description
*Annual in progress
Selling my 1962 P35 V-tail Bonanza with tip tanks. Has been a solid airplane I've flown my family around for the last few years (around 1k hours). Plane has been hangared at my house at KXBP. I've taken it to Alaska, Canada, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, St. Croix, St. Lucia, Curacao, Jamaica, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Grand Cayman, and the Bahamas.
I recently purchased a Cessna 310 and can't fly two airplanes at once so I'm selling this one.
All logbooks since new. I've kept just about any paperwork / receipts since I've owned the plane also.
TTAF - 6193 (Tach was replaced in 2015 so it shows a lower tach time)

Airframe Notes
Great IFR setup with a 1300-1500+ NM range depending if you fly ROP or LOP. Good useful load of 1,265 lbs so you can still haul a good amount even with the tip tanks full. 120 gallons total (114 usable) when full.

Avionics
Avionics/Radios
- Garmin 500 WAAS GPS with up-to-date databases for IFR.
- CDI/glideslope indicators.
- Continental Fuel Injected IO-470 engine with GAMI injectors
- I usually fly between 9k ft and 12k feet getting 9 GPH if LOP and 11.5 GPH if ROP.
- I had BAS shoulder harnesses installed for the front seats.
- I also routinely fly in the mountains at 15k ft without too much trouble, I've had the plane up to FL180 once before with 1/2 fuel, luggage, and 2 adults.
- ADSB out Garmin GTX335 transponder I had installed a few years ago.
Additional Equipment
Additional Equipment
- D'Shannon tip tanks (20 gallons per side) I had installed 3 or 4 years ago. I've easily made oceanic 1200+ NM flights 8+ hrs which is nice if you can sit in the seat that long. It's nice not to have to stop and refuel, or if you want to tanker cheaper fuel.
- Custom cupholders in the front spar area.
- Main comm radio is a new Trig radio I had installed a few years ago with 8.33 spacing (I planned to fly to Europe but never did). This radio also has a "mon" feature to monitor your flip-flop frequency if you want.
- Second comm radio is Terra TX-760D
- Nav radios are Terra TN-200D
- All seat recline cylinders were rebuilt a year or two ago and work as they should.
- Vacuum pump replaced 2 years ago or so.
- Had the attitude indicator rebuilt a year ago by Pacific Southwest Instruments (PSI).
- Left side main fuel bladder was replaced before I bought the plane. I just replaced the right side main fuel bladder in 2023.
- Ceramic coated recently, helps keep the airplane clean and protected.
- STEC 50 autopilot, I just had the roll servo rebuilt a few months ago and I had the pitch servo rebuilt a few years ago. Has altitude hold and will follow heading bug or the GPS Nav or App mode. I think it will also follow the Nav radios for VOR/LOC tracking but I usually just used heading bug or hand flew approaches.
- Front seats are sheepskin and the 3 passenger seats have matching pillows. We've made 8+ hour flights in this plane and the seats are great for these long flights. The headrests on the front seats can be removed if you want (you won't want to).
- Good amount of cargo area behind the seats, pictures show the seats all the way back but they go forward quite a bit.
- Main tires/tubes are a year old and I've got the nose tire/tube I'm about the replace (still has plenty of tread but it's an older tire).
- FS450 Digital fuel flow measure fuel flow, range, etc.. This is a must have for the long range flights I've made.
- I've averaged 200-250 hours per year since I've owned the plane.
- Prop has been balanced.
- I had prop governor rebuilt a few years ago.
- Fuel spider, fuel injectors, and fuel injector lines rebuilt in 2023.
- Both mags were replaced with rebuilt mags.
- Annual in progress, should be back by mid February
- Altimeter, static test has just been done so good for 2 years.
- 406 ACK ELT
- Ruddervators are in good shape. Skins on one of them was replaced prior to me buying the airplane.
- Dual Yoke, which I needed for my initial training for insurance requirements.
- Window seals for rear seat windows and pilot window replaced within last year.
- Ram mount for pilot yoke (fits mini Ipad) and center mount (fits full size iPad) included but not in photos.
- LED landing and taxi lights.
- Smoked rosen visors.
- Fine wire spark plugs.
- 4 place intercom.
- Toe brakes both sides.
