Description
This venerable Bell 47 has been pampered after a recent refurbishment. It has the reliable, hard to find, Lycoming VO 540 B1B3 engine with only 199.2 hours since major overhaul by renowned engine shop Ly-Con in California. The coveted 900 series heavy duty transmission has less than 200 hours since overhaul. The preferred -23 weighted main rotor blades have over 2800 hours remaining. The tail rotor blades have over 1600 hours remaining. All other major components have lots of time remaining.
Helicopter has new paint on entire airframe. The interior has new custom leather seats for three persons, leather cover over the instrument cluster and leather trim around door frame. The iconic Bell 47 bubble canopy is new. Pilot and co-pilot doors have sliding window with air deflector.
