The design of the aircraft has been accomplished starting from the following design specifications: a) Ease of cabin access and cabin comfort; b) Spacious luggage compartments (nose and tail located); c) Reduced take-off run and take-off from non prepared runways capability; d) Max cruise speed of about 190 kts at flight altitude of 10.000ft ktas; e) Range exceeding 950 nm; The high-wing configuration ensures easy cabin access, high internal volumes and a low ground clearance. The result in terms of seating arrangement, seat-pitch and access doors opening are detailed in the following drawings. Easy cabin access and high level of cabin comfort, together with the wide access doors lead to an internal design that enables many other operations including cargo2, ambulance, VIP, parachute SMP, which will further ensure the commercial success of the aircraft through easy re-configuration for many different possible applications. 2 Standard commercial airline aircraft seat rails will allow the use of commercial cargo fittings for belts and straps.

The P2012 Traveller is powered by two Lycoming engines (375 HP, turbocharged, six-cylinder, direct-drive, horizontally opposed, air-cooled, avgas or mogas fed) mounted on the wings. Next-generation engines with alternate fuels approved. The P2012 aircraft series performances allow operating from big hubs as well as small and remote unprepared airstrips. The maximum takeoff weight short field performance provides takeoff and landing run as low as 564 m (1,849 ft) and 365 m (1,198 ft) respectively. Cruise speed up to 194 kts and range up to 1,760 km (950 nm) are accompanied by excellent fuel economy at any altitude thanks to the turbocharged piston engines which don’t suffer the low-level high fuel consumption of turboprops.

The P2012 aircraft series flight deck is designed around the SPACE concept: a Single Pilot Advanced Cockpit Environment. The SPACE cockpit, based on GARMIN G 1000 NXi Avionics suite and GARMIN GFC-700 autopilot has been tailored to allow a reduced workload while enhancing single-pilot operations. A significant contribution to the cockpit, automation is brought by the fully electronically controlled and fuel-injected engines guaranteeing improved carefree performances and a better lifetime of the engines.

The P2012 Traveller is an all-metal structure aircraft, with twin-turbocharged piston engines, high wing, unpressurized, and equipped with a fixed tricycle landing gear. The fuselage has two crew doors for separate flight deck access and a wide cabin door allowing comfortable passenger boarding, fast cargo loading, safe medical operations, and easy para jumping. A separated nose compartment allows additional cargo capability. Responding to the latest certification requirements, no other aircraft has all these exclusive features.

The Traveller aircraft series has an executive cabin size with a continuous flat floor and constant cabin section for the full length of the fuselage, exceeding higher class standards and allowing plenty of headroom for all passengers and crew. Standard seats with the same ergonomy for all passengers, no side-by-side sitting, providing best-in-class comfort and premium real leather on request. The P2012 cabin has 9 single seats, all with the same amenities (dedicated window and reading light, USB port, armrest, cup holder, fresh air / hot air outlets) and the same generous pitch of a liner’s business cabin. Air conditioning, venting, and heating for all climate capabilities. 1,7 m³ (60 ft³) luggage compartment + 0,4 m³ (14,13 ft³) front cargo hold for a wide passenger’s luggage allowance.
