Description
THIS.... is a 1965 AERO COMMANDER 500B with the desirable Merlyn Turbo TIO 540 conversion producing 320HP each side.
One would argue that 16,178 Hours on the airframe is rather high, but with an open checkbook maintenance record, this plane
shows in perfect condition. This plane got me into buying my 500A which I just sold and now it's time to sell N222LE for a friend.
Flown less than 100 hours annually. Deice Boots & Hot Props, Shrike Door, Shrike Wingtip, 2200lb useful load, Avidyne avionics, JP EDM-760 Engine Monitor, S-Tec 50 Autopilot with altitude hold/preselect, ADSB IN/OUT, long-range 204 gallons fuel, Tinted passenger windows, Cleveland Wheels and Brakes.
I have personally gone through N222LE and left with envy. The paint, glass, and interior show no wear.
