    Description
VH-MTD is an extremely well equipped late model GT Trinidad. This is one of the best opportunities on the market today to own a "good as new" turbocharged Trinidad. In 2003 an Aurora Aviation Air-Conditioning system was fitted which provides high-volume conditioned air via 6 overhead outlets. In 2005 a JPI 700 six cylinder engine monitor was installed. In 2005 Socata SB10-140 was completed by replacement of all three control gimbals with new, removing the 100hr inspection requirement found on most TBs. The engine in VH-MTD was subject to Lycoming service bulletin SB 569A. In 2009 that SB and the associated AD was complied with by replacement of the crankshaft with new. At the same time the owner replaced all of the cylinders with all new ECI cylinder assemblies as well as an overhauled crankshaft and overhauled lifters. In 2013 VH-MTD (N140MH) was imported to Australia and a Garmin 330 transponder was updated to comply with ADS-B out requirements and the engine was bulk stripped. In 2022 the Garmin GNS530W was replaced with a Garmin fully reconditioned exchange unit In 2024 the Garmin GNS430W was replaced with a Garmin GTN650xi GPS/ILS/NAV/COM. The major difference between the GT and the previous TB models was the addition of a new carbon-fiber based cockpit roof which has enabled Socata to significantly increase the size of the passenger compartment while retaining the same frontal and "wetted area" and hence cruise speed. In addition the GT version has a significantly larger baggage door as well as retracting footsteps. VH-MTD is an extremely well equipped late model GT Trinidad. This is one of the best opportunities on the market today to own a "good as new" turbocharged Trinidad. Additional Features: No Damage History All ADs and all Socata Mandatory SBs complied with. Airframe, Propeller and Engine all have 1733 hours since new 2 Bose A20 noise cancelling headsets with airbus powered plugs included Halon fire extinguisher Hand mic Price is AUD $269,000 For any questions or enquiries, please feel free to reach out either via phone or email!
