The Bell 212S “Eagle Single” is an STC conversion of the Bell 212 twin-engine helicopter, to a single engine by installation of the T53-17A/B engine. This conversion retains the original Bell 212 Type Certificate, so preserves the gross weight limit of 11,200 pounds, commonality with Bell 212 components, dual hydraulics by type design, and robust structure of the 212 airframe.
This 212S offers significantly reduced empty weigh, the same available power, resulting in increased useful load. Combined with modern avionics, a 6,000 Hour TBO Transmission, upgraded Tail Rotor, and BLR FastFin Strake, this is an exceptional utility configured Type 2 Helicopter.
