Move any plane under 6,000 lbs in the most efficient, safe, and precise way possible! The NFE-6 is the perfect electric tug solution to move nearly any plane 6,000 lbs. Whether your aircraft has wheel fairings, retractable gear, or a tailwheel—or you have a fleet with a combination of all three— the NFE can get the job done. The plane’s wheel is hoisted onto a sturdy, elevated platform powered by a hydraulic jack, allowing for wide turns without dragging the wheel across the ground and easy navigation over various terrains. With our intuitive thumb throttle, you can smoothly and effortlessly control the tug at a variable speed that suits your comfort. The two 12v batteries powered by an onboard Smart Charger and electric transaxle work in tandem to do all the heavy lifting, so you don’t have to break a sweat. The 13” drive tires powered by a differential and a free-wheeling caster under the handle make tough turns an afterthought. Each NFE comes with one NFE Attachment (fairings), one NFE Adapter Plate (non-fairing/retractable), or one tailwheel chock to help connect to your plane. These accessories can be switched out and purchased separately as needed. The Attachment will be specific to plane make; we have attachments for Cirrus, Cessna, Piper, Columbia, Vans, Diamond, and more. The Adapter Plate is universal for any non-fairing/retractable gear.
