    “Golden Age of Aviation” Aircraft for Sale: 1933 Waco UIC Cabin Biplane” This Golden Age 1933 Waco Cabin UIC biplane is currently the only known airworthy UIC Cabin model flying; and was completely refurbished in 2018 in a 3 year, ground up full restoration. It comes with a storied past and historical & original manuals and documents. Notable Owners: John Paul Riddle: Co-founder of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, according to Wright University Libraries & Archives, Special Collections; was an early owner of this WACO Ruth Ellen Dailey Helm: Women's Airforce Service Pilot (WASP) during WWII and Congressional Gold Medal recipient for her service in the performance of her duties, she flew the following aircraft: AT-6, AT-17, B-25, C-47, P-39, P-40, P-47, P-51, P-63 After she quit flying in 1954, Helm stayed active in the community - participating in such organizations as the Tucson Chapter of Ninety-Nines - a group created in 1929 by 99 women pilots, including Amelia Earhart - According to the airplane paperwork and the timeline of an article on the CAF Rise Above website, this WACO may have been her first airplane. Captain Carl A. Overstreet Flew the F-84G Thunderjet & was trained in dropping nuclear bombs and advanced in machine guns, bombs, and rockets. First pilot to fly a Lockheed U-2 Dragon Lady operational mission over Poland, East Germany and the then USSR as a CIA-contracted spy during the Cold War During the Cuban Missile Crisis Overstreet flew the RF-101 fighter-bomber, known as the "Voodoo."
