MD MILITARY PRODUCT LINE A five-blade four-person helicopter with single pilot capability, the AH530 delivers superior performance, high mission versatility, and unmatched maneuverability with low acquisition and direct maintenance costs. The AH530 has a new, Advanced Integrated Avionics and Weapons System that improves situational awareness and mission effectiveness. Developed by MD’s own highly experienced ex-military pilots and the industries’ leading weapon systems manufacturers, this easily reconfigurable system drastically reduces the change-out time required to swap between mission requirements. Hydraulic-free design eliminates risk of hydraulic failure, reduces flight control forces, lowers operating costs, and increases aircraft availability.
