This RedBird FMX was purchased in 2014 and has since had the server/computer replaced with the updated unit offering wireless connectivity to the instructor station among other performance improvements. Simulator is in overall good condition and the motion platform works perfectly. We have acrylic panels to emulate the following aircraft: Diamond DA20 (G500/GTN650 version), Diamond DA40 (G1000 version), DA42NG, Piper Archer (G1000), Piper Seminole (G1000). We have single and dual throttle modules, control stick and yoke modules, and fixed prop, constant speed prop and dual prop control modules. A quick/easy swap of the acrylic dash panel and appropriate control modules automatically changes the emulated aircraft within the simulator software. If you require a different aircraft emulation the acrylics can still be purchased from RedBird.
