Description
L-39C Aerial Cinematography Jet – Purpose-Built SHOTOVER Platform
This is not a typical L-39. This is a meticulously engineered, mission-specific aerial cinematography jet—designed from the ground up for high-performance camera work in demanding production environments.
Outfitted with a custom structural nose mount configured for the SHOTOVER F1 Rush system, this L-39C delivers stable, dynamic imagery at speeds exceeding 350 knots and up to 3 Gs. From Hollywood features to National Geographic documentaries and premium commercial campaigns, this aircraft has been field-proven as one of the most capable airborne imaging platforms in the world.
The forward mount is reinforced to support large-format payloads for cinematic, industrial, or law enforcement applications. The rear cockpit has been professionally converted into a full-time operator’s suite, allowing seamless integration of camera and sensor systems without traditional flight controls.
Maintenance is managed through a tailored inspection and monitoring program. The engine is currently operated "on condition" with reliable performance and full service history under the updated inspection plan.
Whether you're capturing high-speed aerials, conducting dynamic survey work, or building a specialized sensor platform, this L-39C is a precision-built aerial cinema tool, ready for production environments where stability, speed, and performance matter most.
