Princess Rosie is a 2007 Mooney Ovation 3GX with just 960 hours since new. Hangared in climate-controlled hangars in Alberta’s dry environment, she’s a true thoroughbred designed to cruise comfortably at 170 knots in O2 altitudes above 12,000 feet while burning just 13 gallons per hour. Her long-range tanks give you over 1,000 miles of endurance for true cross-country capability. Equipped with the Garmin G1000 system featuring SVT (Synthetic Vision) and the TAS615 traffic alerting, she delivers exceptional IFR situational awareness. The GFC 700 autopilot offers precise, reliable approach capability. For added safety, she’s fitted with factory airbags. Power comes from the renowned Continental IO-550-G (310 hp), supported by a Reiff engine heater for cold-weather starts and dual batteries for reliable backup. The engine was removed and inspected after a prop strike in 2015, with a new Hartzell constant speed, variable pitch prop installed, which has just been overhauled again in June 2025.
