This is a two-seat, open cockpit biplane from the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. It was originally designed by Kreider-Reisner, which was later acquired by Fairchild. The KR-21B featured a more powerful engine compared to the KR-21A. The design is known for its tapered wings and a high gap/chord ratio. The upper wing was positioned well aft of the lower wing, a distinguishing feature.
