Description
This no damage history, 1960 Beech G-18S ‘Super 18’ is a rare find. Equipped with the Hamilton 400-pound Gross Weight Increase Kit, Dee Howard Main and Outer Wing Spar Reinforcement Kits, recent BF Goodrich De-Ice Boots, Executive Cabin Configuration with the Air Stair Door (total of 7 seats), Unfeathering 3-Blade Props, Co-Pilot Instruments, Digital Fuel Flow, LONG RANGE 318-Gallon Fuel Capacity, Locking Tail Wheel, Stick Shaker, Gear Warning Horn, and All Log & Records Since New! This aircraft was once the ‘flagship’ of Grimes Manufacturing which built numerous aircraft parts such as Rotating Beacons, Strobe Light Systems, Ground Proximity Warning Systems, etc. This bird won an award for ‘Best Paint on a Vintage Aircraft’ in 2005 at the EAA Oshkosh Fly-In. The majority of the interior is new as of March 2018. Dan just flew this plane from the West Coast to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a total of 7 hours flight time and the plane flew great. Oil temps and oil pressures run right where they should. A great opportunity to own a late serial number, ‘High Cabin’ Beech 18 !!
