Total rebuild 1992. 1236 SMOH
This aircraft was extensively rebuilt in 1992 at a total time of 1,236 hours on the airframe. All tubing was refinished with epoxy, all wood was inspected and replaced where necessary, all cables were replaced with new. All bolts, nuts, screws, clevis bolts were replaced with new A&N hardware. Aircraft was recovered with Stitts Polyfiber and materials per procedure manual and Stitts STC. Replaced the tail wheel with a new assembly, along with new tail wheel to rudder springs. Replaced tail brace wires with new. Replaced all glass with new, replaced interior and seat belts with new. New Sensenich propeller installed. Aircraft was wired for electricity and a generating system was installed, along with position and tip strobe lights.
A Continental A-65-8 engine was installed with the appropriate paper work, along with a custom cowl. The engine time is currently 1,270 hours since major overhaul. The annual expired November 1, 2017.
The aircraft is being sold as is, where is, due the death of the owner. The aircraft does not have a generator. The lights and radio are run by the battery only, which is recharged after they are used. But it does have a com radio of some kind. Also, before ferry, the brakes need serviced.
