    Background: Owner leased N2218Y to a lessee on 09/15/2019, which lessee flew for a total of 622 hours until its present location at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV), Brooksville, FL. The aircraft’s last known recorded flight was on 04/21/2022 from Zephyr Hills, FL (ZPH) to Tampa, FL (VDF). Owner located N2218Y, which was abandoned by lessee at Brooksville, FL (BKV). The aircraft is missing its wingtip assemblies, all lower wing inspection plates are removed (unknown if in aircraft), the main landing gear wheel pants are missing, and the original engine was replaced with an alternate engine as described below. It is believed that most of the interior components are removed and stored within the aircraft cabin. All avionics and radios have been removed. The aircraft is parked on a ramp at an FBO at BKV, and access to the aircraft is available exclusively via the airport manager with prior scheduling through the owner.
