    Description
This is a very nice example of a 182Q. I hunted for 6 months when purchasing in '22 and flew to the east coast to bring N303BS home. When I purchased the plane the engine and prop were both zero time since major overhaul. I was able to break-in the engine on a 20+ hour flight home. I'm very pleased with the break-in. I typically have to add one quart or less between oil changes. The plane is set up to be an amazing IFR machine able to fly coupled approaches with vertical decent. I've primarily used this plane to fly between KMRY and our cabin in northern CA - hangered at both ends. I also used a cowl heater when up north for winter starts. The Texas Skyways O-520 and three blade prop are incredible and the BRS parachute made me and my family feel a little better for about 20 minutes of our normal flight over un-survivable landing terrain. I'm sad to let it go but my wife and I have changed our focus and I'm not flying as much as I used to. 1/19/26 compressions 70,76,74,66,74,70. BRS parachute installed 8/24/17. BRS line cutters replaced 7/7/23. Whalen LEDsStratus, USB ports, Metal fuel tanks - not bladders, Monarch fuel caps, Rosen visors. Here's a couple things I'd want the buyer to know: 1)The windshield could be replaced. There is some crazing and some scratches and I was fixated on it when I purchased the plane but then decided not to do anything about it because it never bothered me when I was flying 2) The JPI EDM 700 has a couple led pixels out. See the photo and the pixels missing from the top of the "tee" in the abbreviation for BAT.
