This UH-1 is one of the finest examples on the market today. Licensed and flying in the restricted category, and ready for work or pleasure. It was purchased by the current owner in September of 2022, and imported back to the United States. Previously rebuilt by Southwest Florida Aviation, and leased to operators worldwide. Used for fire support and customer transport by previous owner in South Africa. Lots of work completed by Southwest Florida Aviation, including new main rotor blades, torque and tension straps, and component overhauls. Lots of time remaining on all components. Times on cards are approximately 130-140 hours old. Buyer will verify component times and logs for accuracy. All logbooks, timesheets, cycle accuracy, etc are believed to be intact. In addition to its civilian history, this helicopter had extensive service in Vietnam. Serving with the 1st Cavalry, 4th Cavalry, and various Assault Helicopter squadrons.
