Description
A classic all metal antique with good parts support and many owners around the world. A comfortable and stable cruising aircraft. Original art deco paint finish make it a notable arrival. Sale is due to loss of medical. This aircraft was imported around 1979 and restored at Moorabbin Airport. It arrived in the country with a newly overhauled engine and after-market airframe and wings corrosion proofing. Full documentation of the aircraft prior to arrival in Australia and of the restoration. Always hangared in Australia. Low engine hours (432 hrs SMOH). After recent replacement of gaskets and seals, top end overhaul and big end bearings replacement, a bulk strip was done, the reasons for which will be explained to an interested buyer. The engine has completed about 20 hours since the re-build and passed inspection, oil use and cylinder pressure test. Annual Inspection late December 2025. "Flip flop" Radio. Space for transponder.
