Description
1973 Reims Rocket
The upgraded 172 everyone should own - a reliable, powerful, efficient, fuel-injected engine with airframe rust proofing as standard. Enjoy the classic 172 safe handling and ease of operation with amazing short and rough (ish) fiield performance, comfort, safety, load-hauling and all with (at last!) a decent cruise speed. Such a capable aircraft!
Long range tanks (298 Litres - 276 useable). Vortex generators. AoA indicator, High Power beacon and rear strobe. LED landing light. Based in the West Midlands, UK.

Airframe Notes
Cruise at 135kt TAS at 44L/hr (10gph) or lean back to 26L/hr (6 gph) and do over 1000nm - all while operating from just a few hundred metres of grass. No accident history. Privately owned throughout it’s life - never used commercially or as a school or rental aircraft. Hangared for most of it’s life and completely over the last 8 years (my ownership.) Maintained and upgraded by Airspeed Aviation at Derby.
