This is probably the nicest high performance 172-XP Class seaplane you will find anywhere today. 8LM was completely restored by the prior owner, then purchased by the current owner a meticulous maintainer, professional engineer, and certified flight instructor.  All maintenance items have been addressed immediately and the plane has been flown carefully, safely and within safe operating limits. GAMI injectors and an Insight data logging engine monitor were installed and flight data is continuously monitored by Savvy Aviation who also provides feedback for optimal engine operation.  For planning I conservatively use 10 gph fuel consumption. Full Tanks hold 68 gallons. In lean cruise the engine can easily be leaned to 8.5 gph. Published useful load in 630 lb. This seaplane is fly-away ready, just having come out of annual. Next annual is due in February 2019.
