AEVEX's DHC-6-200HG™ provides increased Gross Weight to 12,500 Lbs. with PT6A-27 Engines at 620 SHP delivering the performance and utility of a DHC-6-300 series! AEVEX's DHC-6-200HG™ modification can be applied to your aircraft or we can source one from the market customized to meet specific requirements. Modified with the DHC-6-200HG™STC the aircraft has a MTOW of 12,500 pounds. These aircraft are typically being delivered with empty weights that are lower than comparable DHC-6-300's, providing an increase in the useful payload. As a DHC-6-200HG™ the aircraft is equipped with a “long” nose forward baggage compartment, as well as an enlarged aft baggage door and aft baggage shelf extension. These aircraft are being delivered with current maintenance status and completion of a Baseline Five Year Corrosion inspection. The interior shell can be been replaced with “NEW” hardshell (Kydex) plastic two-tone interior panels to look like a new airplane. Equipped with a passenger air-stair or a forward passenger "swing" door and fuselage emergency exit hatches this aircraft will be ready for placement into passenger revenue service or outfitted for special missions. As part of the modifications the fuselage exterior is stripped, etch alodined, primered and painted using DuPont Imron AF400 polyurethane enamel sporting a classic clean look in a typical White and Black Twin Otter livery.
