Description
The J-50 was Beech's top-of-the-line TwinBo, featuring:
- air stair door
- supercharged engines (340 hp a side)
- dual control column ("Queen Air") panel
- 100 amp generators
- 230 gal. fuel tanks
- single piece cockpit glass (on this one, anyway)
- Norton radome
The "package deal" on this one includes:
- Garmin-refurbished G600 with new installation kit, ready for installation
- IGSO-480 0 SMOH military o/h engine done by Columbia Aircraft in 1978, “pickled” & still in original shipping container
- 900 lb of spares, tools, and cores including another engine core
- after market "portable" air conditioning
- Redline Sidewinder powered tow bar (custom fitted to this aircraft)
- Spare heater core (working when removed)
Golf cart with front & rear towing hitches and tow bar not included, but purchase can be negotiated.
You could buy & fly this aircraft a long time as is. Or, you could jump in & do the upgrades using the included Garmin G600 & the "pickled" 0-TSMOH military IGSO-480. If you're ready for panel +/- interior now, I have an avionics quote & installation time slot with one of the West Coast's best shops; this *might* be transferable and would get you out in time to meet the 2020 ADSB mandate.
