    Description
N53650 served with the Japanese Land Self Defense Force from the date of its original manufacture until 1990 when it was purchased by myself. There are no logs or other records of its activity other than total engine and air frame times and a statement that the aircraft had gone through a military I.R.A.N shortly before its release from active duty. I am the first civilian pilot to fly the aircraft as far as I know, and it remains in essentially stock military condition except the modifications and upgrades. In September 1992, the aircraft was completely disassembled and chemically stripped. it was then acid etched, primed, and painted with Sherwin Williams Sunfire 421 Catalyzed Acrylic Urethane, inside and out. At this time both windshields, as well as side and top windows were replaced. All new AN hardware was used during reassembly.
