Flying Qualities Report:
The Cap-21 has a similar power to weight ratio as the Extra 300, with improved control harmony (especially in yaw) and an unparalleled ability to maintain large sideslip angles. Roll rate is slower than an Extra, but the feel of the aircraft is incredibly well harmonized with balanced control forces and deflections. The steerable tailwheel provides excellent directional control in crosswinds, and visibility on the ground is very good. Overall performance is similar to the Lazer Z-200 series, but with the pleasing flying qualities associated with French aircraft.
