    690B TWIN COMMANDER GRAND RENAISSANCE PROGRAM: The aim of this program is to virtually return the aircraft to as new condition with state of the art equipment whilst enhancing the performance and fuel efficiency providing the customer with long term safe and reliable transport with a low maintenance curve all at a lesser cost than the purchase of a new aircraft. ENGINES: The original Garrett 717 HP TPE-331- 5 engines are replaced with 900 HP Garrett TPE-331-10. PROPELLERS: Replaced with wide chord Q tip for greater efficiency and reduction in noise levels in flight. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Checked and pressure tested with parts replaced as required. UNDERCARRIAGE: Removed and overhauled. The nosegear in this aircraft was also strengthened. WING LOWER SPAR CAP: Replaced with a new item. AVIONICS: The instrument panel is removed and replaced and existing equipment replaced with new at the direction of the customer. Dual NAT N301 Audio Panels, Meggitt EFIS and EDIS displays, Dual Meggitt Air Data Computers, Meggitt 2100 DFCS Autopilot / Flight Director, Dual Garmin 530 GPS / Coms, Dual Garmin GTX 327 Transponders, Bendix King KMH980 MFD, including ART2100 Radar, TCAS, EGPWS, WX500 Stormscope and moving map, Bendix King KRA405B Radar Altimeter, Bendix King KMR675 Marker Beacon Receivers, Bendix King KR87 ADF Receiver, Bendix King KHF 950 Synthesised SSB HF Transceiver, NEC Satphone with audio interface, CDMA Cellphone, and a Viscom DVD system were fitted to this aircraft. FUEL SYSTEM: All fuel bladders are removed and replaced with new Permaflex items. DE ICING BOOTS: All are removed and replaced with new Permaflex items. This included boots being fitted the inboard wing leading edges. EXTERIOR PAINT: A Total strip and repaint is carried out in the customers choice of colours WINDSCREEN AND SIDE WINDOWS: Are replaced with new items INTERIOR: A total interior refurbish is carried out. This was done using good quality leather and fabrics.
