    Description
This unique aircraft was built up as new by Westpac Restorations in 1989 from North American NA-50 drawings, using an SNJ4 fuselage, T6G wings shortened by 72" to a wingspan of 35'6" and with the center wing flap faired over, and a SNJ2/NA50 style rudder installed. The installed Pratt & Whitney R1340-61 3/2 geared engine with the large 12:1 blower has left and right exhausts. Landings with the full length NA-50 style 23D40-311 propeller blades are full stall (however blade length can be shortened). Given the wings, aerodynamic fuselage and retractable tail wheel, and the -61 engine with the big blower, performance is greatly improved over the Texan, yet the NA50 can be flown in AT6 formations. US Civilian Certification: Experimental Exhibition last issued 1989 w/Grandfathered Ops Specs Logs/Condition: All US Civilian Records, Hangared, No Hail or Corrosion Conformity/Annual, Oil Change: 3/2012 @528.9 Hours TTSN Engine Compressions (at Annual): 78/79/76/79/77/79/78/79/78 over 80 Wing Attach AD per AMOC: Complied With by Eddy Current 6/11, per AMOC bottom/forward 13 are not due for 198 Hours, balance of others in 820 Hours.
