AD 2005-12-51 C/W next due at 715 Hours TT Annual Inspection Completed October 2011 $350 Donated to AMOC for this aircraft This Aircraft was built by Westpac Restorations from NA-50 drawings using new materials, SNJ-4 fuselage, T-6G wings (modified by removing 48” from each panel and installing fiberglass rounded tip for a net reduction of 72” to its wingspan). The center flap has been disabled. It has an electric fuel pump and a direct drive starter with a 28 volt electric system. The engine has dual exhaust which gives it a unique sound coupled with the 23D40 full length prop turning at 2/3 engine speed. Its acceleration at take-off is nearly double of that of a standard T-6. Its handling at cruise is excellent and can fit in any T-6 formation. Landings are always a full stall due to prop clearance and superior to a T-6 in cross winds due to shorter wings.
