Description
*AWESOME* 1947 North American Navion! All super mods performed to make it the equivalent of an "F"-Model, but since factory was no longer in operation it is still registered as an "A" -Model! VERY LOW TIME with ONLY 2241 hrs. total time on aircraft; only 1476 hours on Continental IO470-H fuel injected 260 hp engine; and only 758 hours SMOH, and 175 on prop overhaul! 34-gallon tiptanks on each wing + 40-gal. main tank + 20-gal. underseat aux. rear tank = 128 total fuel capacity! This airplane will outlast your bladder!) :) All solid-piece flush windows for reduced drag, McCauley prop, downdraft cooling, chrome engine accents, high-speed landing gear doors, leading edge fresh air vents with in-floor adjustable cooling jets, hinged flush step in flap, two sets of landing lights, strobe, navigation lights, zinc chromate corrosion protection, and excellent tires. Overhead interior switch panel, toe brakes + parking brake added, KDX Nav/Comm, wing-leveler, yokes with push-to-talk switches, white and brown vinyl interior is in very good condition with only a few small splits on rear seat and pilot seat where I knelt on them in very cold weather. The exterior is also in very good condition with very few minor dings or blemishes -- one photo of left wing fairing shows the bulk of blemishes with some paint chips on fiberglass fairing -- easily removed and repainted/touched up. This is a very nice aircraft -- rarely will you find one with this highly-desired configuration and condition! Always hangared, same owner for over 26 years, and previous owner owned it for 23 years. Time for a new loving owner -- priced well below market value for expeditious sale...need to pay for son's college tuition. Beautiful aircraft!
