Description
This aircraft has been restored to better than new. If you want the best 02-A WARBIRD, (YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER O-2A FOR SALE IN THE COUNTRY THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS AND NEEDS NOTHING DONE EXCEPT FLY IT!) with the all the creature comforts of a new aircraft, then this aircraft is for you. Not to mention the proven safety of a multi-engine military combat aircraft with centerline thrust.
This aircraft last annual was April 2010, with new paint Dec 2007, a 4 place new interior, special soundproofing, all new or overhauled instruments and radios (ALL OPERATIONAL), new wiring, fresh X-Ray Spar inspection, new glass, overhauled fuel tanks, Argus 7000 CE Moving Map, Ryan TCAD, GPS certified for IFR, fresh prop overhaul, and all new hoses just to name a few (but see detailed list below).
The aircraft is PEFRECT and I can't say enough about it. If you are serious, please arrange a call or visit us so we can brag about all the other hundreds of things that were done to this aircraft.............plus it is STANDARD CATERGORY!!!! This is the last of the true US Military Combat War Birds with plenty of availability of parts; all you have to do is show up and collect your air show awards. The aircraft has always been in a heated hangar since completion and has not spent one night outside! Every time this aircraft lands at an airport it attracts a crowd.
Don't be fooled by other O-2s (if you can find any for sale) or pretend O2s (337s mocked up) that are for sale that need engine overhaul, are experimental category or require a complete refurbishment with avionics that look real but don't work. This aircraft had thousands of man hours put into it and the detail shown in the pictures doesn't even come close to highlight the craftsmanship until you see in person.
EVERYTHING works on this aircraft to include UHF radio, FM Radio, and Heads-up Display / Site; to name a few. Not to mention it flys like a dream, it is stable and smooth, 155+ knots all day long and 18 gallons per hour with 128 gallon capacity, with all the safety of two engines IFR certified and proven combat engineering (Again, this is NOT a standard Cessna 337, nor does it fly like one, it is better, period).
