    Description
This is not your fathers P-Skymaster. Not to be confused with the Riley Skyrocket this is the SuperSkyrocket with 300 hp TCM TSIO-520s at each end! This low time pressurized airplane is one of the latest Riley conversions completed in 2003. Complete original physical logs. Also in full color in pdf format via CD or Dropbox! The digital documentation includes a paperwork history, STC's, FMS's, 337's, tags, operating manuals, parts and service manuals (Riley SuperSkyRocket specific), technical articles, photos, etc. This corporate owned & operated aircraft has been maintained to the highest standards since our purchase in 2008. Airplane has been under Mike Busch’s SAVVY aircraft maintenance since March 2010. It has been hangared in one of our five hangars in five states since purchase. Avionics and instruments are without compromise. All upgraded new in 2003 with a complete array of Riley analog instruments most of which have been duplicated – and in some cases triplicated - with JPI and EI digital instruments. A further major upgrade of the avionics and instruments was completed in 2009 by Charles Cranford of South Carolina Avionics. Charlie is among the best avionics installers in the USA (ask around for confirmation); is Sandel’s East Coast Tech Advisor/Troubleshooter; and performed all the upgrades himself – not just under his supervision. Co-pilot side of panel contains complete array of flight instruments for the safety of redundancy. The S-TEC 65 autopilot (just updated at the STEC factory at KMWL) is dead on. Simple and reliable pressurization. Fly above most weather without tubes up your nose! The middle row bench seat has been removed since I have been flying it solo since 2010. However the middle seats can be readily re-installed and are in excellent condition with (matching) custom (natural color) sheepskins. This unique aircraft has numerous fuel mods with the ability to jettison fuel. It can even eject the optional (not included but available) fuel pods which can be attached to the fully re-furbished plumbed and electrified Cessna hard point pylons manufactured for the O-2 military version! In combination with the in-wing auxiliary tanks and the factory long-range fuel, ferrying this airplane over long distances becomes a viable option. Except in the more demanding takeoffs I have flown this airplane as though it were turbo-normalized, keeping the MP = 32” and limiting cruise to 68% power (55% with tailwinds). Stop staring at the engine nacelles and wings that obstruct downward visibility in most twins. If you fly over water, rugged terrain or at night you need a twin. Paint is overall in good condition but not without some nicks and minor scratches – always hangared. Interior is in overall excellent condition.
