Description
Fresh Annual Done 3/16
This aircraft was the last pressurized Cessna P210R manufactured. Extremely Well maintained, always in hangar.
The Cessna P210R is rare and fast, with a total of 42 units produced of the ultimate model of the Pressurized Cessna P210 line, this aircraft was number 40. The 1986 P210R is the more rare and expensive.
The P212R Pressurized Centurion: Thanks to Cessna’s philosophy of long-term improvements and gradual change, it’s the latest models that are the most desirable. The 210R—available in 310-hp nonturbo, 325-hp turbocharged, and 325-hp pressurized iterations—is high on the desirability scale, although also depressingly rare.
The year-to-year improvements were striking. It seemed like Cessna just kept coming out with better and better designs, the 1986 being the ultimate best. Some of the improvements are as follows:
Large fuel capacity, increasing from 89 gallons usable to 120 gallons. Plus, the extra 30-gallon auxiliary tank. This aircraft holds 150 gallons of fuel.
As is true with many designs, the early airplanes are more pleasing in handling than the later, heavier models, with the exception of the last-of-line Rs. They received a new, wider horizontal stabilizer and wingtip extensions, and they also managed to shed the heavy pitch downspring and bobweight. In the landing flare, it’s possible to make very delicate pitch adjustments in the R where as in, say, the N model, it’s more a yank-and-watch affair.
The 325 hp Continental TSIO-520CE has an efficient two-stage intercooler and larger cowl flaps for better cooling.
Maximum takeoff and landing weight has been increased to 4100 lbs. Improved lift and stall with new wing tip design.
No damage history. All log books from new.
