    Description
Huge price drop!! The one and only Fantasy Island TV show "De Plane." 1967 Grumman Type 30 Super Widgeon N4453. Just 915 hours total time, last Widgeon ever built (Scan, by Mansdorf), Lycoming R680 300HP engines, most McKinnon updates. Fully restored in 2003, fresh annual. $359,000. History: The last Widgeon ever built, this in 1967 by the Lee Mansdorf Company from the Scan Company’s remaining Widgeon inventory, and of only three remaining in this highly upgraded configuration. Aaron Spelling’s Hollywood production company leased N4453 from its then British Columbia’s owners in 1976 and N4453 became one of the “Fantasy Island’s” hit TV series stars. After it’s huge show fame, ‘4453 ended up with different owners, and in the mid-1980’s was confiscated by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics for drug smuggling. Sold at auction, the plane was then rescued and by 2001 was completely refurbished and restored to its present immaculate, better –than-new condition. In 2003, N4453 was voted best “Contemporary Aircraft” at the Tulsa Regional Fly-in. Delivery in Branson, Missouri
