(Documented in Le Fouga book page 13). These attach points are significantly larger than the standard attach points and carry a higher “G” loading. Cockpit restoration included: The disassembly of the front and rear cockpits Removed existing avionics and associated wiring (approximately 150 lbs) Stripped, cleaned and painted in military grey Manufactured new instrument panel, side, and sub panels (18 new panels) All panels are painted in military grey and engraved in white (No decals used) Relocated oxygen regulator and windshield de-ice to sub panel Manufactured central warning light module to replace individual warning lights GPS front mounted in glare shield Control grips engraved Installed transponder identification feature to forward control grip Installed gear warning system to both control grips and throttle quadrants Installed new cockpit lighting and controls Throttle quadrants engraved Oxygen system modified to accept U.S. Military quick disconnect hardware U.S. oxygen services fill port Oxygen tanks hydro-static tested New oxygen supply lines built into sub panels Fuel quantity calibrated in US gallons Aircraft glass and canopies polished Engine exhaust stainless steel highly polished Main tires replaced with Goodyear Flight Eagle H19.5/675-10.8 New pitot static lines to all instruments Rear pressure bulkhead and all old connectors removed and window installed US external power plug Built in NiCad battery charger to main battery bus New seat cushions and backs New webbing throughout five point harnesses New brake pads installed at annual inspection Engines removed during annual, dressed compressor blades and compressor wash NiCad battery deep cycled Landing light assembly machined for US landing light Aircraft paint completed December 2002
