Description
Built by owner with factory assistance and professional assistance by Mathew Collier’s Fibercraft. This Evolution is one of smoothest and fastest Evolution in the air today. It is perfectly rigged, has several custom touches and is ready for your personalized custom paint and interior. Owner now requires 6+ seats and must reluctantly sell.
Don’t buy a fully finished Evolution when you can make this one uniquely yours with your paint and interior. Pilots who have flown numerous Evolutions have said this one is top of the line with regards to speed and flight characteristics. Countless flight hours spent to perfectly dial in the handling characteristics.
This aircraft has a signed letter of insurability from Lancair stating this completed Evolution aircraft meets or exceeds all design and build specifications.
Features:
Engine air inlet (with de-icing) and dedicated oil cooler inlet re-designed yielding increased speed and lower oil temps.
RDD Therm-X deice system was prototyped on this aircraft. Price includes an existing $35,000 credit towards a ThermX de-ice system and re-installation during painting process.
Engine and aircraft parameters recorded once per second from virtually every flight prove gentle engine treatment and actual flight performance numbers.
100+ flights mean pressurization cycling issues that sometimes result in paint cracking until things “settle in” are already worked out- your paint job will remain perfect.
Reinforced door frame to prevent hairline cracks
Window system updated per latest Lancair recommendations
Reinforced nose gear beyond factory recommendations
No damage history
Extensive build documentation and log books, including data from every flight. You can see how the engine was treated during every start.
Two new Odessy batteries mean fresh power for starts (starter spins engine fast to 18%+ Ng before light-off)
