    Description
    This 1943 Taylorcraft L2 (Grasshopper) was purchased in December 1968 as a basket case.  It was restored to factory and military specs, except for the Sensenich prop, by William G Simmons, Jr. The restoration was completed and the plane was first flown by Mr. Simmons in January 1972.   In November 1980, Mr. Simmons stopped flying due to health issues and the plane has been stored inside. I have lots of documentation dating from 1945.
