L4 is military version of J3 Cub, also known as “Grasshoppers" VH-OPY Served in WWII at Fort Sill USA for training Artillery Spotters and Forward Air Ops pilots Genuine Warbird, imported into Australia approx 1970 Complete restoration by Luskintyre Restorations in 2019 Won Grand Champion Warbirds AAAA National Flyin 2019 Grove wheels, tyres and disc brake conversion. Original wheels, tyres and brakes included. ICom 200 VHF, Transponder and 2 place intercom in portable/removable box. 2x9amp/hr lithium batteries and new air-driven alternator. Solar panel for battery charging in the field. C85 engine overhauled by Brett at Luskintyre 2020.
