Full scale Fokker DR1 Triplane - authentically reproduced after 2 years of study and 8 years of construction by a serious aircraft craftsman. Fokker 817DF triplane in detail: Full scale replica built from Ron Sands plans. All documents are available. Located in Michigan USA. Custom prop with scimitar-new old stock propeller hub-8 bolts. Custom made all aluminum cowling, 165 Warner Super Scarab, yellow tagged mags, Holly carb, with polished hardware. Yellow tagged starter, new stainless steel exhaust system, new ignition harness and sparkplugs. 500 Series Cleveland brakes, rudder bar, original looking control stick, with machine gun levers and blip switch, all aluminum original looking seat, authentic looking all aluminum Spandau machine guns, stainless steel fuselage bay wires with brass turnbuckles and brass safety wire. Engine oil cooler. Brass fuel and oil caps. Tail wheel and tail skid are interchangeable. Aerobatic wing spars. All wood items sealed with two coats epoxy spar varnish. Poly Fiber covering with flattened Aero Thane paint. Satin sheen finish, all steel & aluminum components are epoxy primed and Aero Thane top coated. Turtle deck and fuselage side skins removable for inspection and servicing. All screw fasteners are stainless steel slotted head. Engine primer. Interior and exterior logos and placards in German language and fonts. Approximately twelve one-half hour flights to date. No damage history. Additional pictures of any specific areas available upon request. Leather helmet, goggles and silk scarf included. Disassembly and shipping services available.
