    Description
(This is NOT a Piston Engine Glasair !!! ) To my knowledge, This is One of only 2 Flying, “professionally built” Allison equipped Glasair lll known to exist! The Glasair lll is a Non-Pressurized, 2-Seat, Side By Side, “Fully Aerobatic”, ONE PIECE CONTINUES WING SPAR CONSTRUCTION Aircraft. SPEEDS: 270/kts to 290/kts “economy cruise” that burns between 17 to 20-gph @ 17,000’ 100% Power = 310+ knots , in low to mid 20’s I haven’t flown this aircraft over 17,000’ alt Climb, I usually see a little Over 4,000/fpm This plane needs Nothing, it flys & handles like a Bonanzas on a bottle of Steroids. OWNER FINANCING WITH SUBSTANTIAL DOWN AND GOOD Collateral Or....make me a cash offer I can’t refuse.

    Airframe

    Airframe Notes
Spinner to Tail 22’ 4” Wing Span 27’ 2” Height 7’ 7” Glasair Structural integrity is built to withstand G loads of +6 & -4 The Glasair lll has a Much Stronger Wing Spar than the lesser G-Load of The Lancair family Of aircraft. Empty weight=1,400/lb Max Weight =2,500/Lb useful load is 1,000/lb Fuel =80/gal x 7Lb =560/lb total fuel weight. Build was done by (Phoenix Composites in 1995 now known as performance-1) Still in business and Still supporting Glasair in PHX, AZ. This Glasair lll has the Larger Tail to accommodate the 450/HP Power Plant. Permanent Extended wing tips for extra 20/gal of fuel. 80/Gal total. Built in 2-Place Oxygen The 450/SHP Allison engine was chosen for better fuel economy at lower altitudes and its lighter weight, compared to the P&W, Walther’s and Garrett engines. The engine is “Factory NEW” WITH ONLY 400/TTSNew,   Thats Also Total flying time on the Airframe With No Damage history ! This aircraft comes with All airframe Manuel’s, Engine Manuel’s, Build progress Manuel’s And Allison Factory Engine progression cycles and log entry books.

    Engine

    Engine Notes
This Engine is (400-TTSN) (times will change as I fly this aircraft) is a TURBINE Rolls Royce-Allison 250-B17F That’s 450/SHP (prop-Jet) The latest and greatest of the 250 family of Allison engines. ((( NOT ! ))) AN EAST EUROPEAN FUEL GUZZLING WALTER TURBINE !) ( And Not Removed from something else !!! ) (THIS ENGINE IS “NEW” OFF THE SHELF WITH 400/TTSN proven flight hours in This Glasair. The Engine ALONE, is worth More than I am asking for the Entire Aircraft !

    Props

    Prop Notes

Overhauled Nov/2021 Prop model HC-B3TF-7A,  Hartzell 3-Blade, De-Icing, “FULL REVERSING & FULL FEATHERING ! NO DAMAGE HISTORY, EVER ! The Glasair is ADSB Compliant
