Description
This restored Bell 47 is possibly the finest one of its type flying in the USA. It has the powerful Lycoming VO 540 B1B3 engine with only 26.8 hours since major overhaul. The coveted 900 series heavy duty transmission has 26.8 hours since overhaul. The preferred -23 weighted main rotor blades also have only 26.8 hours since overhaul. The tail rotor is the advanced composite model with 26.8 hours since new. All other major components are low time.
Helicopter has a bright blue new paint on entire airframe. The interior has leather seats for three persons, leather cover over the instrument cluster and leather trim around door frame. The iconic Bell 47 bubble canopy is new.
