Description
Built in New Zealand first flown in 2004. Imported to Australia in around 2008 and experimental CofA gained. Current owner purchased in 2010.
Engine is a Lycoming IO-320-B1A 160HP. 495 hours TIS since bulk strip with all the major components replaced or repaired. Engine is operating on-condition. Airframe has 495 since new.
In 2020 a Dynon Skyview EFIS system with auto pilot was installed and aircraft was converted with a newly overhauled Constant Speed propeller HC-F2YL-1/7663-4. Current TTIS on prop 50 hrs.
Cruise speed of 145 knots with 110 litre main fuel tank and aux 33 litre tank gives a range of over 450 nautical miles with holding fuel. A great tourer to get around Australia.
Avionics: Dynon Skyview EFIS system - 2 X Becker AR3201 Radios - Trig TT21 Mode S transponder - Backup MGL Stratomaster Infinity combination gauge.
Always hangered.
Easy folding wing system makes it road transportable which I have done.
