This Merlin IIIA has been the corporate workhorse for Worldwide Aircraft Services & Worldwide Aviation (a Fairchild Merlin Metro Service Center) for the last 33 years. An absolute fuel miser. Only age of owners has created the reason for selling. As most aircraft MRO’s the aircraft has been well maintained but the cosmetics were not an issue to worry about. Both engines met previous revisions levels of HW Service Bulletin TPE331-72-0180 requirements for 7000 Hour Overhaul and inspections in prior Commercial operation. They also met the 5000/5400-hour maintenance of previous revisions of the same SB. They do not meet nor are they required meet the latest status for overhaul or inspection of this bulletin until next overhaul. Current selection by aircraft owner is for the 5000-hour overhaul & inspection schedule.
