Description
For sale is one of the nicest, fastest and most efficient turboprop airplanes made. 0 time since hot. Cruise at 315 ktas with an incredible 7.7 NM/Gal. With the extended range tank you have 1,100 NM of range. This is a true 4 place machine that boasts 39 cubic feet of baggage space. People over 6'4" can sit comfortably in any seat. Fresh annual completed.
The airplane is very well equipped. It has a 3 screen G3X avionics system, GTN750 GPS, GRT backup avionics, Moritz touch screen, Bose A20 headset plugs as well as standard headset plugs, heated front seats, oxygen bottle and masks for emergency pressure loss, Cabin circulation fans to keep temperature as evenly distributed through the cabin as possible, extended range fuel tank, Electronic wing de-ice, Villanger prop de-ice (made the prop more efficient and allowed for more speed), LED landing gear lights and wing wig wag lights, cover for plane and all safety plugs and prop straps. The Moritz screen allows for a true hands off presser system operation. The G3X 3 screen setup allows for a
unmatched flight experience giving the pilot all of the data needed for safe flight without having to change screen settings. With a glance you can get your traffic, weather, flight displays, engine displays, flight plan, synthetic vision, estimated time to VNav, destination pattern altitude, fuel over destination, MSA and a whole host of other useful data. It has had a fresh
annual and hot section inspection. There was extra attention paid to all of the gaps and seals on the airplane, which makes this one of the absolute best planes in the fleet. There was also particular attention paid to the airfoil of the wing to ensure it conformed to original design and maintained best flight characteristics as well as speed.
This plane is the fastest of the fleet and very likely the most efficient. You will most consistently see 310-312 ktas. On occasion you will see 315 kts. The TAS is best indicated on the GRT as it has been adjusted for compressability at the flight levels (something you cannot do on the G3X unfortunately). Your fuel burn at those speeds flying FL280 you will see from 38-41 gph (based on OAT). The plane has 191 gal of usable fuel. Using a high average fuel burn and a low average speed you can calculate your average range quite well. Using 40 gph and 300 ktas (I use 300 ktas to adjust for climb and decent making it a very safe average speed), I would remove 40 gal from 191 to allow for IFR reserves.
So, 151/40= 3.77 hours of flight. 3.77*300= 1,132.5 NM of range. Typical time to climb to FL280 (if I don't have step up climb too much) is anywhere from 10-15 minutes. Typically I see an average economy of 7.8 nm per gallon.
