Description
Do the math on this one… Airflow Intercooler ($6,000 installed), Merlyn Wastegate ($6,000 Installed), Speed Brakes ($9,000 installed), GTN-750 ($18,000 Installed), GTX-345 ($8,000 Installed), GMA-35C ($4,000 Installed), GNC-255A/GI-106A ($6,000 Installed), JPI EDM-900 ($9,000 Installed), GAMIjetors ($1,500 Installed). My trusty HP-12C says that is $67,500 in desirable 231 engine/airframe upgrades and panel upgrades the you don’t have to pay for!
Equipped with the holy grail of 231 upgrades (Intercooler, Merlyn Wastegate, Speed Brakes, GAMIs) for better engine management similar to the Mooney 252. This is the 1984 Airframe, so it already has all of the upgrades Mooney made on the M20K frame (highlighted by the Split / Removable back seats and the one-piece fiberglass belly). The engine is beyond TBO and we are currently taking care of the one cylinder that is below Continental standards. Owner flies it regularly and recently put on about 20 hours of flight time, adding only one quart of oil. Maintained by one of the top Mooney Service Centers in the US, the aircraft is a ready to fly, cross-country workhorse, waiting for you to take the reins.

Currently Maintained by SWTA (Longstanding Mooney Service Center – Smithville, TX). 2016 inadvertent gear retraction while on runway. The first year’s logs were involved in a bankruptcy of an FBO that had a leaseback on the aircraft. However, the work was recorded in the logs using workorders / invoices. There is a statement by the original owner that there was no damage history in the missing first year.
